Downtown Chicago Bridal Styled Shoot

Styled Shoot

As a wedding photographer, sometimes it’s fun to just collaborate with other wedding professionals. In this case, when my friend and fellow photographer, Brittany Bishop, said she was coming to Chicago, the two of us and our friend Megan (Megan’s Forever Photography) decided to try to put together a little mini-collaboration so the three of us could spend the morning shooting together! And it was so worth it!

Can we start by talking about the amazing florals from Vy’s Floral Design?!

The beautiful greenery mixed with those pops of spring pink and classic white was more lovely than we could have hoped for! Vy is so sweet and talented and we were lucky to have met her in time for this collaboration. Keep an eye out for a vendor spotlight with her in the near future 🙂

We wanted our bride to have a fun, flirty look that was as classy as Chicago’s beautiful downtown, where we would be shooting. Through Rent the Runway, we found this beautiful Allison Parris dress (that high-low tulle skirt, y’all!) and some beautiful vintage-y chandelier earrings from Nicole Miller.

Y’all know me and my architecture and stairs…and you better believe this session was full of them!! We spent our morning by the riverwalk and then ended on the rooftop of LondonHouse Chicago. If you haven’t been there, stop everything you are doing and go now. The views are magnificent!.

It was such a blast getting to spend the day with Brittany and Megan doing what we all love to do AND getting to photograph such beautiful things.

So many thanks to Vy for her part in this – we couldn’t have done it without you!!
