Senior portrait session aren’t just for high school, friends! Graduating from college is an incredible personal and professional achievement that deserves just as much love as high school graduation does! So I was so excited when Bailey reached out about doing a senior portrait session to celebrate her upcoming college graduation.

Bailey wanted to do her session in a field or forest preserve, and Danada Forest Preserve gave us the perfect rustic backdrop! We climbed our way through tall grass and loose branches so we could be surrounded by all these lovely neutral colors! I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, there’s something really fun and magical about trees that aren’t in bloom. Sure, spring greens are nice, but there’s just something I love about parks and forests when they’re in this state. Especially when people wear dresses in the midst of it! That always provides such a lovely, unexpected contrast to the photos.

I loved Bailey’s adorable white dress. Wrap dresses are so flattering, and the ruffles lining the sleeves and skirt added the perfect amount of frill and movement! I also loved how Bailey personalized the session by bringing a bottle of champagne! What better way to celebrate?!

Bailey, I had so much fun spending the afternoon with you (despite the crazy cold!). Thanks for being such a trooper with the weather and for being such an amazing model! Can’t wait to share the rest with you!
