French Château Intimate Wedding Inspiration

Styled Shoot

Today we’re continuing on in my series from my summer in France and my time at The Signature Atelier! Up today is this gorgeous intimate château wedding. With a soft color palette, oodles of texture, and subtle hints of fall, this inspiration should be the kick in the pants you need to ditch your current wedding plans and start planning a château wedding! And if you’re looking for a starting point, definitely check out Chateau Bouthonvilliers 🙂

First things first, can we all just go ahead and agree that anything lace with sleeves and buttons is GOALS? This custom-made Katherine Bignon design was the perfect mix of elegance and simplicity and it moved like a dream. And then you go and pair that with Bella Belle shoes? Um YAS. Trine Juel carried the simplistic elegance of the gown into the hair and makeup, giving Kathryn beautifully timeless look with her French twist and neutral makeup.

Lovin Concept did an incredible job planning and styling this session. She gave everything that touch of French elegance and romance in a very understated way. I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. Style and simplicity can co-exist! More does not always equal better. And, in fact, I think that simple, when done correctly, is far more elegant and impactful.

I absolutely loved the florals designed by Floresie. They are proof that you can create a statement without massive floral centerpieces. The mix of green and white with a pop of rich yellow was so classy and was perfect for an early fall color palette. I loved the way she sprinkled little loose sprigs of greenery throughout the table to extend that soft floral texture and bring some life to each part of the table.
