Intimate Wisconsin Wedding Shully's Watermark

I had been looking forward to Magen and Spencer’s intimate Wisconsin wedding for quite some time and it did not disappoint! From the beautiful weather and the intimate atmosphere to the sweet guests, every moment of this day was so relaxed and lovely.

It’s not every day you find a venue that is pretty AND has the most beautiful, secluded portrait locations right next to it! But that’s exactly what we had with Shully’s Watermark. That little pathway was absolute perfection, especially with that light peeking in and creating a beautiful golden fall hue! The color in Magen’s bouquet looked beautiful against the greenery and her loose bouncy curls were as effortlessly elegant as she is.

Their outdoor ceremony was short and sweet, full of laughs, followed by cocktail hour in the gorgeous tent. I’m going to let y’all in on a secret. I LOVE tent weddings. You get the benefit of gorgeous natural light for photos, plus rain shelter! Win win! This cocktail hour was so much fun, complete with lawn games and delicious platters of food created by Shully’s.

After cocktail hour we moved indoors for the reception. Speeches are always a fun time for candid reactions, and I think Spencer wins the award for the absolute BEST laugh, don’t you?! And also some of the best dance moves 🙂 Their crowd knew how to WORK the dance floor! Such a fun group!
