One of the things I always appreciate in clients is when they recognize that their wedding day is as much about their friends and family as it is about them. Allison and Mike had that mindset and RAN with it. From very early stages it became clear that their ultimate goal was a) to marry each other (obviously!) and b) treat their friends and family to an unforgettable evening. When your approach to wedding planning is, “what would be fun for my guests” vs. the “it’s all about me” mentality, we’re going to get along great AND your wedding is going to be a BLAST 🙂

Allison and Mike chose a unique venue, the Chicago Sports Museum. Housed up in the top corner of Water Tower Place, it’s an often forgotten part of Chicago (I mean I’ve lived here 7 years and have never stepped foot in there!) so guests were immediately treated to an experience, getting to explore this fun museum! After the ceremony with some of the sweetest personalized vows, everyone headed off to the exhibits for cocktails and fun. There were interactive games and fun photo ops everywhere – such a fun way to spend cocktail hour.

After speeches and a yummy dinner, this crowd was ready to PARTY. The dance floor filled up immediately and was full all night long. Allison and Mike know how to throw parties and had several surprises up their sleeves for their guests. We’re talking balloons, light up wands, and…a dancing LED Robot. That’s right. An LED Robot joined the dance floor and turned things up. If the dance floor wasn’t already lit, it definitely was after that.

Allison and Mike, it was so fun getting to celebrate with you. I loved getting a glimpse into your relationship and getting to see how loved you two are by your friends and family. Thank you for including me in your day! Enjoy these highlights!
