As much as I love fall and its colors, this pre-winter phase is actually one of my favorite times to be shooting! The greens are gone and you get these lovely rustic, golden tones. And the backgrounds are always full of texture. Even though we didn’t have any sunshine during Amyanne & Rich’s session, I’m in love with the foggy, post-rain magic!
Amyanne and Rich started their session in gorgeous elegant outfits. Amy’s long sleeve dress was PERFECT for a chilly fall/winter day and Rich’s black suit complemented it beautifully. For the second half, they changed into a more casual look, keeping with neutral tones that looked so lovely against our backdrop.
Lincoln Park is truly the gift that keeps on giving. No matter how many times I shoot here, there is always a new angle to be found and a new background to explore, keeping everything fresh and unique. I’m obsessed with the lines we were able to play with and the patches of rustic goodness we were able to find.
Amy and Rich were such naturals in front of the camera and braved the damp, chilly day like champs! Don’t you just love the way they look at each other?! They also came fully prepared with things like waterproof bags, hand warmers, and a lint roller (always a good idea if you’re wearing black to your session!). You can never be too prepared when it comes to a session in Chicago!
This session was such a beautiful way to kick off winter season. I’m so excited for all the cold-weather magic ahead!
Amyanne and Rich, I had such a wonderful afternoon with you and can’t wait to send you your full gallery! Enjoy these highlights 🙂
